Cape Henry Launch Service is a 24 hour on-call full service launch and tug provider servicing the eastern seaboard and based in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Our company was founded in 1996 with the goal of providing excellent services to anchored ships in Hampton Roads, Virginia. From its original mom and pop team, Gary and Shirley Bradford, to employing over a dozen people in Virginia and Maryland, our company has shown a lot of growth and impact. Over the last 20 years, our company has expanded to provided many more services in Hampton Roads and Cove Point, Maryland. Servicing the needs of commercial ships has been our primary function and our company has developed knowledgeable employees and advanced equipment for these tasks. Cape Henry Launch is proud to supply dependable boats with experienced crews.
About the Founder
While many people prefer to stay on land, Gary Bradford is not one of them. With a passion for the water and a desire to fill an industry need, waterborne logistics services, Gary created Cape Henry Launch Service with the help of his wife, Shirley Bradford. Sociability and dependability were the main traits that made building Cape Henry Launch Service into the company that it is today. In his free time, Gary loves to go metal detecting, biking, and spending time with his family and his dog, Sandy. He is grateful for an amazing team that has helped him build his company.
